Arts-Oriented Life-Instruction Promotion Concept
SGF has a good relationship with a small spiritual group that own a theatre space. SGF will make the theatre space available to performing artists who need performance practice and support them with a volunteer support team. At public performances the artists and their voluntary support team will promote the life instruction courses. And to boost the morale of the youths who undertake the courses include them in the production team that provide the voluntary support to the artists.
There’s opportunity for the scheme to produce some income from the sale of tickets to performances, so, the package has the capacity to do a lot with just the input of volunteers guided by good management. There’s also a need for volunteers to learn the Junior Youth life instruction courses so that the courses can be made available close at hand.
If the forum is to achieve the desired result a sustainable source of volunteers must be established. In the past the format has proved most successful but couldn’t be sustained because of the small number of volunteers who undertook it. The life instruction courses are also well received but are similarly challenged by an ever-increasing need for volunteers.
The plan is to later unroll a much larger plan to extend the format to encompass other aims and take the scheme to the places where society need is most acute; in this city that’s Western Sydney. Public meetings are planned to determine who will to take up this venture and how long it might take to assemble the necessary coalition to proceed.
